Ramona Runions
Ramona Runions
executive director
Ramona approaches every client circumstance with hard work, passion, and care; for her, clients are family.
As head of the FERS team, she ensures that FERS is focused on guiding clients through the federal benefits system, which is not intuitive and can cause even the most alert federal employees to stumble in their retirement goals. Ramona (and FERS) understands that each client has a unique story and needs customized retirement planning for those circumstances, but she also knows that preparation is crucial to success. Using this values-centered approach and its “ CLIENT FIRST” philosophy, she is committed to helping each employee manage their benefits with confidence.
Ramona and team stay ahead of the curve with the latest in retirement and insurance products, as well as sector trends and strategies. In addition, Ramona is part of a network of the country’s best wealth and financial management professionals and is a member of groups like The Independent Excellence Group, an elite and diverse think-tank of such top experts. She also holds the district certificate of ChFEBC.
Ramona spends her free time with her husband, Ron, and cat, Wrigley, in their Atlanta home. Her large family of 6 children and step-children, 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and grand-dogs and grand-cats who light up her world.
Ramona’s greatest source of joy is seeing the success and community spirit of her children. She also enjoys gardening, playing the piano, rollercoasters, theater, golfing, and poker. And, a native southerner, Ramona never shies away from a good opportunity to entertain.

Blake McCorvey
Blake McCorvey
sales director
Blake McCorvey has always had a strong desire to live life to the fullest while also inspiring others to live the highest quality of life. A coast to coast expedition across the country after graduation from University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) inspired an area of focus for a career path in which Blake could do just that.
Now, firmly rooted back in his home state of Georgia, Blake serves as the Area Director of Federal Employees Retirement Services (FERS). His integral role provides the opportunity to follow his passion on a daily basis through elevating clients’ uncertainty of the future by educating and recommending retirement strategies to satisfy each client’s unique needs.
“Unique” is a common theme in Blake’s story. Similar to each client with a unique story and set of circumstances, Blake doesn’t necessarily fit a mold of the stereotypical “financial advisor.”
Over a decade of experience in Executive Retail Management has garnered a background rich in customer service and communication. This experience has honed his skill of relating to clients and utilizing his proficiency in product solutions to assist them in achieving their goals.
Blake views every experience as an opportunity to improve himself. He takes great joy in learning from his clients and finds the wisdom they share with him meaningful and inspiring. This rings true in his free time as well. Blake is passionate about his volunteer work with local Atlanta organizations such as The Human Rights Campaign.
“Some things we have to learn the hard way, but other times we are blessed enough to have the opportunity to learn from one another and save each other a hardship or two.”
